I deeply thank UNCTAD for the invitation to the 8th session of the World Investment Forum, WIF 2023 in Abu Dhabi, which is an extremely beautiful city that is home to one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world: Abu Dhabi Investment Authority – ADIA.
We had the opportunity to meet public and private decision-makers, key players in public and private partnership, family offices and investment funds.
Throughout the week spent at this international meeting in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), I realized how important it is to bring together public (better knowledge of the local market) and private (innovation and expertise) actors for a better understanding of issues and actions in order to mobilize extension from $2,500 to $3,000 per year need for investment in sustainable development, particularly in infrastructure.
